Description
General’s Ridge Challenge – 10 mile run (limited to 300 runners)
NOT for the faint of heart!!!! This run includes approximately 5 miles on cart paths of General’s Ridge Golf Course. There are some very steep (albeit relatively short) pitches both up and down that will leave your quads burning.
General's Ridge Golf Course is recognized as one of the most unique must-plays in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Nestled among a forest of oak, beech and poplar trees, this 18-hole championship adventure, 6,651 yards from the tips, rambles over rolling hills and spectacular scenery, producing thrills on every hole. A local TV station and Capital Golf Weekly even picked one of our holes as the toughest in the D.C. area – should you take on the challenge, you will likely agree – toughest to run.
Note: Running on General’s Ridge Golf Course is NOT allowed except for this race – on race day ONLY.
