The Kinetic Sprint is one of the early seasons best sprint triathlons. This event has a 9AM start so you can sleep in a little for this one! Staged out of beautiful Lake Anna State Park this event is easy to get to and has sold out the past 3 years.
The triangular shaped swim course transitions into an 18 mile rolling bike course on the rural roads of Spotsylvania county. With only 3 turns outside of the park this really is a fast course. We have modified the run course so it only has one hill (coming out of transition) and is all inside the park on a combination of paved walking paths and roads.
Water Temperature: We expect the water temperature to be in the mid 60's.

News
Women's TShirt Sizes:
New for this year many of the races in the VTS will be offering women's sized shirts. If you have registered for a race and want a women's sized shirt, please double check the sizing chart HERE. If you want to change your shirt size you have until 4 weeks prior to the race to do so as we will be placing the order for the exact number of shirts requested in women's sizing. Anyone registering within 4 weeks of the event will only have the option of unisex/men's shirt sizing.

This event is limited to the first 700 registrations.
USAT Sanctioned
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.
Wetsuits: Wetsuits are not mandatory for this event although they are recommended as we expect the water to be in the mid 60's.
Event Cut Off Times: We expect each athlete competing in this event to be properly trained for it. All participants must complete the race in under 2.5 hours. Race officials reserve the right to pull a participant off the course if it appears as though that participant will not be able to meet the above time requirements.

REFUND POLICY
50% of your entry fee will be refunded until April 25, 2010 or until the event has filled. No refunds will be issued for any reason after April 25, 2010. Event entries are not transferable between persons, events or years. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to these refund terms. To request a refund you must complete the refund request form using the link below BEFORE the posted refund deadline.
Every effort will be made to have this event on time on this date. Should this event be cancelled due to an Act of God or other circumstance beyond the race directors control there will be no refunds, credits, or transfers.
