The 33rd annual Carolina First Reedy River Run is a series of four footraces in downtown Greenville the first weekend in March 2010. The chief attraction is a 10K run, which starts on Main Street, winds through historic Augusta Street and scenic Cleveland Park, and finishes at the award-winning Liberty Bridge. The course challenges runners with plenty of rolling terrain, but no lengthy climbs. Runners can celebrate their finish with food, beverages and music at the post race party in Falls Park.

Also on the weekend schedule are a 5K, Kids Mile, and Children's Fun Run. The 5K starts and finishes at the same locations as the 10K, but heads west on historic Pinckney and Mulberry Streets, and then connects with the paved Swamp Rabbit Trail. Friday night, the spotlight is on the kids, with both youth events starting and finishing under the Church Street Bridge at Linky Stone Park.

Adding some excitement to the 10K event is the Elite Physical Therapy Reedy Ran-dom Challenge. Two randomly-selected upstate entrants are given a head start and a chance to win prize money if they cross the finish line ahead of the elite runners.

The Carolina First Reedy River Run gives back to the community, as well. We offer generous donations to the elementary and middle school PTAs that register the most students, faculty, and staff from their respective schools in the Fit's Cool School Challenge sponsored by Earth Fare.
