The fourth annual Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Marathon presented by Landfall Realty will be a historic event for those who participate. On Sunday, March 17, 2013 thousands of runners will begin their marathon quest from the ever popular destination island of Wrightsville Beach. Each will enjoy the scenic coastal views during their journey. They will wind through Landfall Community, an exclusive development in Wilmington for much of the course, and finish in Mayfaire Town Center. Competitors, their families and friends will take advantage of all the fun offered by this world famous beach destination.
We will cap the race to 3000 runners (800 in the full and 2200 in the half). This is a USATF Sanctioned Event.

This event benefits Landfall Foundation and The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Landfall Foundation Mission:
The Landfall Foundation was formed to support Wilmington charities. It has allowed the Landfall community an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to our city by distributing grants to smaller organizations that are often under funded. Although small, these local charities and causes meet broad and vital community needs.
Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation Mission:
The MMRF relentlessly pursues innovative means that accelerate the development of next-generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend the lives of patients and lead to a cure.
