Description
The event takes place at beautiful YMCA Camp Thunderbird on the shores of Lake Wylie in the southern sections of greater Charlotte on the North Carolina/South Carolina border.
Course Descriptions:
Swim: The swim takes place in the beautiful Lake Wylie which is on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina. You will actually swim in SC! It is a point to point swim with the start and the finish within walking distance of one another.
Bike: The bike course takes you across Lake Wylie into the new development of Palisades. During the the bike course you will also experience both North Carolina and South Carolina. It is a one loop course with small rolling hills.
Run: The run course takes you across a foot bridge into the beautiful River Hills golf course community. It is an out and back course through rolling hillls. The run course is all done in SC.
