Description

Swim:

The 750 meter swim will be in the beautiful Lake Norman.  The lake surrounds Jetton Park and will begin from the beach area near the back of the Park.  Participants exit the water and run about 80 yards to the transition area. Once again we expect the swim to be wetsuit legal.

Bike:

The bike course goes out of the Park and follows Jetton Road by the Peninsula and Lake Norman. It follows John Connor Road and Belle Isle Road and then loops back down Jetton Road to finish in the Park.  Participants will enjoy this scenic route and the police and volunteers will man each intersection and turns are marked with directional signs.

Run:

The 5K run starts in the Park and then exits for a loop and then returns to finish in the Park.  The run is scenic through the Park and aid stations are positioned every 1.5 miles.
