DATE & TIME
Thursday, November 25th, 2010 -9am - Turkey Day 8k; 8:30am - 1/4 mile Toddler Trot.

LOCATION
Hubbell Lighting within the CU-ICAR business park. Hubbell Lighting is located at 701 Millennium Blvd, Greenville, SC 29607.
COURSE INFO
Course monitors will be stationed along the route and course will be closed to traffic. Each mile will be marked. Water & Gatorade will be located at mile 1.5 and mile 3.5. Please help us keep the course clean - put trash (i.e. gel & bar wrappers) in designated trash receptacles. Post-race refreshments will be available to all participants.
CASH PURSE
Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in 8K run will receive cash awards - 1st $100; 2nd $75; and 3rd $50.
AGE GROUPS AWARDS
Top 3 for both Males and Females for Turkey Day 8k will receive an award: 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+. Awards ceremony will be held immediately after the race.
DIRECTIONS
From Charlotte/Spartanburg: I-85 South to Greenville. Take exit 48B. Merge onto Laurens Rd/US-276 toward Mauldin. Turn left at Millennium Blvd and comply with parking instructions.
From Atlanta: I-85 North to Greenville. Take exit 48A. Merge onto Laurens Rd/US-276 toward Mauldin. Turn left at Millennium Blvd and comply with parking instructions.
PARKING
Only enter into the CU-ICAR campus at the Laurens Rd & Millennium Blvd juncture (directly off of I-85) - No other entry points permitted. Drive 1-mile down Millennium Blvd and turn left into Hubbell Lighting for parking (PLEASE PROCEED WITH SAFETY - VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ON COURSE). Hubbell Lighting Security Personnel will direct you to designated parking areas. ENTRANCE INTO CU-ICAR WILL CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 8:30AM SHARP - NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE COURSE AREA BEYOND THIS DESIGNATED TIME! VEHICLES MUST NOT PARK ON THE RACE COURSE - THEY WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE. LATE ARRIVALS MUST PARK OUTSIDE OF THE CU-ICAR ENTRANCE AFTER 8:30AM.

WHAT DO I GET FOR VOLUNTEERING?
First and foremost, volunteers get the satisfaction of helping a great organization - TreesGreenville. They also get to be a part of an inaugural Turkey Day 8K that will surely become a Greenville tradition for years to come. Oh yeah, volunteers will get a t-shirt too!

TreesGreenville Turkey Day Tot Trot
To all those tots out there who would like to participate, TreesGreenville is offering a complimentary 1/4 mile Tot Trot at 8:30AM. All participants will receive a bib number and a finisher's medal. If a you would like a t-shirt for the event, there is a $10 fee, please register HERE. If you do not want a t-shirt for the Tot Trot, then no need to register, just come to the starting line at 8:25AM for the race.
