Description
The Jamestown Gran Fondo is ideally situated in the heart of Virginia's Historic Triangle. This beautiful ride rapidly takes you on to low traffic, country roads where the pavement is nice and the hills are small. With staggered starts everyone can finish and enjoy BBQ and beer by the water next to the Jamestown Settlement. Don't miss out on this wonderful time of year to be in Williamsburg, VA.
The Jamestown Gran Fondo has Century, Metric Century and 30 mile options. Each distance is fully supported with mechanics and well stocked aid stations. The Century starts at 7:30AM, the Metric Century at 8:30AM, and the 30 miler at 9AM. Each of these rides is mostly flat but has some long, gradual climbs (max 125 ft). The post ride party starts at 11:30AM and goes until 4:30PM. Riders get 2 beers and a BBQ plate with their entry with more available for purchase.
All registered cyclists get the following: finishers medal, short sleeve technical shirt, cycling socks, well supported and well stocked stations on the route and access to the post ride party along with BBQ, 2 beers (after the ride), and DJ.
There will be 2 timed sections on the Century and Metric Century portions and one timed section on the 30 mile route. Remember, this is not a race! All riders are expected to obey all traffic laws, ride single file, and stay to the right as much as possible.

Jamestown Gran Fondo Cycling Jerseys
When you register be sure to order an inaugural Jamestown Gran Fondo cycling jersey. Made of top quality materials for superior comfort, these Champion jerseys will be the envy of all your friends and riding buddies. There are a Mens (club cut) and Womens cuts available, please specify your jersey size in the comments field when you check out. Cost is $80 online and $95 at the race site. You must be registered and have these ordered prior to 5 weeks out from the event as that is the turnaround time on the order. Click HERE for a sizing chart. Jamestown Gran Fondo Rules
-This event is a supported ride, not a race
-Obey all traffic laws, stop signs, etc
-All cyclists must wear a helmet
-No headphones while you ride
-Be courteous to drivers, remember we are guests in their community
-Ride to the right and in single file as much as possible
-Any behavior you wouldn't want your mom to see or hear will not be tolerated
-HAVE FUN!

Policies and Refunds
This event accepts refunds of 50% of the paid event price up to 14 days prior to the event date or until the event has filled. Event entries are not transferable between persons, events or years. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy.

Every effort will be made to have this event on time on this date. Should this event be cancelled due to an Act of God or other circumstance beyond the ride directors control there will be no refunds, credits, or transfers.
Ride Timeline and Cut Offs
100 Mile Route: This event starts at 7:30AM
62 Mile Route: This event start at 8:30AM.
30 Mile Route: This event starts at 9:00AM.
Course support will end at 4:00PM. Please plan and train accordingly.
Post Ride Festival: Starts at 11:30AM and goes until 4:30PM. If you finish after this time, food and drink will no longer be available.
We expect each individual to be properly trained for this event and to be able to finish in the time allotted.
