USAT Age Up Policy

All 2012 Set Up Events USAT Sanctioned Triathlons will set participant ages as of December 31, 2012. For series scoring purposes, and individual event scoring purposes they will be considered that age for the entire year, regardless of when their birthday is.

Example - John Doe is 34 with a birthdate of July 4, 1977. Because John will turn 35 before 12/31/2012, he will be considered 35 for all USAT sanctioned events in 2012.
John's first event of the year is the WAC Triathlon in April 2012. John will race the WAC Triathlon and all other USAT sanctioned events in 2012 in the 35 - 39 age division.
