Founded in 1994 by Bill Scott in Wilmington, North Carolina, Set Up Events is one of the nation’s longest-running and most respected triathlon production companies. What began in a garage has grown into a cornerstone of endurance-sports event production on the East Coast—and beyond.
Over the past three decades, Set Up Events has helped shape the sport by producing thousands of triathlons and by serving as a launching point for many of the industry’s top race directors. Alumni include Jeremy Davis (still with Set Up Events), Greg Hawkins (founder of Kinetic MultiSports), and Benji Jones (founder of Jones Racing). With the exception of World Triathlon Corporation (IRONMAN), few organizations worldwide have produced more triathlon events.
